Director
Ms. Kelly Winner became Sprayberry High School's Choral Director in January 2007. Originally hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Ms. Winner moved next to Nashville, Tennessee where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree summa cum laude from the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, followed by a Master of Education form Vanderbilt's Peabody College. In Nashville, Ms. Winner participated widely in the choral music community as an ensemble leader and administrator for such orgnanizations as the Blair Children's Chorus and St. George's Episcopal Church children's choirs. She studied choral conducting with David Childs and had the privilege to student-teach with such fine directors as Robert King and Carol Poston. Since coming to Georgia, Ms Winner has been a part of the Cobb County School System, first at Lassiter High School as Assistant Choral Director and AP Music Theory Teacher, and now as Choral Director as SHS. Ms Winner loves to travel and learn new languages. When she's not at school, she loves to cook and play with her dog, Mo.
