This year's spring musical production will be "The Sound of Music." Auditions are being held today after school and callbacks will be on Thursday. The call back list will be posted on Friday after school both on the chorus room door and on this blog. Students must bring their signed audition forms to the audition. The $50 production fee will be due at the read through rehearsal on January 8th. Check this blog for continued updates about the musical!
We are still selling the recording of the Masterworks performances through Friday of this week. Please send in $15, checks made out to SHS Chorus.
I was so pleased with the Masterworks Concert last Thursday. What a special tradition we have here at Sprayberry and what an honor is was to be a part of it for the first time! All the students' hard work certainly paid off. I thought our choral tone showed a significant improvement from the Fall Concert and I can't wait to take these students to Large Group Performance Evaluation! Thanks so much to all the parents who helped out - Zanny Dillson, Jean Fleming, Terri Robbins, Chrissie Smith, Melissa and Brian McMahan, Rachel Wade, and Lisa Nicholas. We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks also to Ms. Champion, Ms. Baddock, Mr. Ellis and Mr. Esserwein for helping our chorus kids to sound their best!
