Synthesis Essay:  Considering the Proposition of Evil

Using as a starting point the 3 articles given to you in class that discuss different aspects or viewpoints of evil, develop a thesis and compose a well-developed and supported essay of 3 to 4 typed pages on a topic of your choosing.  You should use at least 3 parenthetical citations from at least 2 of the different articles.  You may also find another article to integrate into your paper for bonus credit; a copy of the article must be attached to the essay.  You will also need to support your thesis using at least 3 examples from literature and / or mythology, history, and current events.  Of course, you will need a works cited page attached to your essay.

BONUS:

  • Find, include, and attach an article of your own choosing.
