It was obvious that a lot of thought went into the college major projects. It was interesting to note what people were thinking of pursuing once they graduate from high school. Majors of interest included: Biology, Public Health, Kindergarten teacher, Acting, Nursing, Chemistry, School Counselor, Business, and others. We are happy to welcome Mr. Julian Smart us as our tutor. He has already put his expertise in the area of English to use as many students are starting the "dreaded Research paper"! Many, many thanks to Morgan and Maylott for doing a beautiful job with the upcoming 9th grade parent meeting. Because of their passion and enthusiasm for AVID, a lot of interest in the program was generated. They will be going to the middle schools in the Spring to help advocate for our program.
