Scratchboard

Monday we start our scratchboards!

AP homework-Extreme point of view figure drawing

Extreme point of view gesture is due Monday, October 1; the final rendered drawing is due Friday, October 5.  The weekend will be used to make adjustments on the drawing.  You may use any medium and can not be any smaller than 16" X 20"

slab dwellings and glazing

The finished fish dishes will cmoe out of the kiln all glazed tomorrow morning. Our slabs are getting leather dry.

portraits

We are examining the proportions and forms of the human face.  We will follow the sequence of placing features on our "generic face".

East meets West watercolor

After we complete our color wheel, we are starting our watercolor of a flower or fruit. Get your sketch ready to transfer to watercolor paper and your calligraphy writing.

slab dwelling

We are constructing a "dwelling" using the slab construction method. Please use at least 5 textures. And, keep using the potter's wheel to improve your skills.

Bobby Knight

We will complete our tempera batik and begin our charcoal of "Bobby Knight"

Figure drawing

We will be implementing proportion and scale in rendering the human figure while exploring a variety of mediums.  Homework assignment is an extreme piont of view  figure drawing, any medium, 12"x 18" minimum.
