Español 1 - ¡Tú puedes!

I hope you recognize the expression that is over the door in the classroom.  It  means "You can do it!"

Most of you did great on the two test Friday (vocabulary and writing).  ¡Congratulations! Because we are nearing the end of the semester and the final in comprehensive,  I am giving those of you that want to bring up your grades a great opportunity.  Listen for the details on Monday.

This week we will have a couple of quizzes - Tuesday and Wednesday

Español 5 - ¡Nos quedan 5 semanas de clase!

No lo puedo creer.  Nos quedan cinco semanas de clase. Uds. han sido una clase divertida para mí.

Espero que tuvieron un buen fin de semana.  Esta semana vamos a continuar practicando hablando en grupos pequeños.  También vamos a leer mucho del libro "Querido Sr. Henshaw".  Empezaremos una unidad nueva que se llama "¡No tengo nada que ponerme!"

Español 1 - Welcome back from vacation

I hope your Spring Break was as good and relaxing as mine.  We are now getting to the end of the semester.  This is the time to buckle down and bring those grades up!

Everyday as you come in to the class remember to pick up a copy of the book "Pobre Ana" and read the pages indicated on the agenda board.  Be prepared to answer questions about what you read.

Thursday of this week we will have the test on "El ratoncito del campo" (this test will include the verb gustar)

On Friday we will have a writing quiz.

Español 5 - Las vacaciones han terminado

Bienvenidos de vuelta a la escuela.  Yo disfruté muchísimo de mis vacaciones y espero que Uds. también gozaron de sus vacaciones. 

Ahora necesitamos concentrarnos en el fin del año escolar. 

Esta semana quiero hablar un poco acerca de la Conversación que van a tener al fin del semestre.

El viernes tendremos una prueba de escribir.
