Español 1:  Chapter 1 Mini-cuentos 3 and 4 = vocabulary, the verbs SER and ESTAR (forms and uses), interrogative words, weather and emotions through stories and extended readings.  Thursday, February 21 = Test over Chapter 1 Mini-cuentos 1-4 during the first part of the period.  Study stories, verbs, vocabulary and all class notes nightly in preparation for Thursday's test as well as for quizzes, which are possible at any time.

Français 3:  Chapitre 1--Quelle coïncidence = Mini-contes 3 et 4.  Continuer avec le passé composé avec AVOIR et ÊTRE.  Continuer avec Le voyage de sa vie = Chapitres 4 et 5.  Il faut bien étudier le vocabulaire, les verbes aux passé composé et le livre Le voyage de sa vie tous les jours; les interros sont possibles à tout moment!

Español 1--  Pre-test over Chapter 1.  Begin Chapter 1 "El Muchacho Pastor" = language learning through targeted vocabulary and TPRS storytelling.  Continue working with survival vocabulary with particular emphasis on family members and verbs.  Begin working on describing emotions and feelings.  Begin learning how to sequence events in chronological order.  Study all vocabulary nightly as quizzes are possible at any time.  Complete Mini-Cuentos 1-2 by Friday.

Français 3--Continuer avec Le voyage de sa vie = Chapitres 3-4 avec vocabulaire, questions, discussion en classe et activités de traduire.  Continuer avec et terminer Chapitre 2 Mini-Contes F-H:  vocabulaire, mini-contes, discussion en classe, activités de traduire.  Il faut bien étudier vocabulaire et le livre tous les jours; les interros sont possibles à tout moment!  Examen sur tout vocabulaire de Chapitre 2 Mini-Contes F-H mardi 5 février ou mércredi 6 février.  Commencer Chapitre 3 Mini-Conte A entre mércredi et jeudi = "Lili et son ennuyeuse demi-soeur".  Completer Chapitre 3 Mini-Conte A.
