Latin II

April 28:

Monday : pages 167-170

Tuesday: 171

Wednesday: word study 20

Thursday: vocabulary quiz

Friday: Test on Stage 20

This week:  we are finishing Stage 19; the declension quiz is Thursday (4/17), the word study is due on Friday.  We will finish our research in the media center on Thursday.

  • Research your Egyptian god.
  • Make a sack puppet:  the front should have a representation of the god.
  • One side should have his name in hieroglyphics.
  • On the back write summaries of the stories connected with the god.  If you have room, write a short paragraph about when and where he/she was worshipped.
  • On the other side, show pictures of common symbols (domains) and other gods/persons/animals associated with the god.

These will be graded on accuracy, neatness, and creativity. Messy and unattractive projects will receive low grades.  You may use illustrations from the Internet, but do not cut and paste any text. Good use of color will enhance your project’s appearance.

These are due for presentation on April 24.
