Congratulations on a great Fall Concert!
The Fall Concert on October 9 was a great success. All three orchestras played very well and looked extremely professional in their uniforms. I was very glad that the LGI worked out for our performance space and that we were able to sell all of the fund raiser items except for one. The audience attendance was good- we had a large crowd. Concert etiquette is still a work in progress, and will probably always be an issue we need to revisit. I appreciate all of the adults who helped, ESPECIALLY Mrs. Shirley Childs, who singlehandedly managed the SOPA table; Mrs. Barnett, SHS Principal, who played with the Chamber Orchestra; Mrs. Baddock who helped all day long; Mr. Champion managed the entrance door; Ms.Winner for played harpsichord with the Chamber Orchestra; Mr. Middlebrooks and Mr. Liles set up and tore down the lighting; there were several Dads who put away the chairs after the concert. especially would like to thank my helpful, respectful, and talented students who made the concert a success!
What are we going to do now?
All three orchestras are working on their performance evaluation music and the Disney music. The chamber orchestra is focusing on the Masterworks concert program.
