Advanced Learning
Welcome to Sprayberry's Advanced Learning Page
Sprayberry High School is a Newsweek Magazine Top 1200 School and an Advanced Placement Ceritified Demonstration School. We have instituted a number of programs to increase rigor for all students. This has led to a dramatic increase in our participation in Advanced Placement Courses. This year 388 students are registered to take 557 Advanced Placement Tests. There are 26% more students taking tests this year and a 20% increase in the number of tests. We have doubled our AP student test participation and the number of tests since 2004. We are very proud of our students' accomplishments. Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships are all an important part of Sprayberry High School's Advanced Learning Program. All students have access to Honors and Advanced Placement Courses in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Foreign Language, and Fine Arts. All Advanced Placement courses at Sprayberry High School are certified through the College Board Audit process. Our Gifted and Talented program is another facet of our Advanced Learning Program. Please visit our Gifted web page at www.giftedcenter.com Cobb County Schools also has a Gifted informational webpage: County Page.
