Sprayberry High School is proud to be a 21st Century Techonology School. Every classroom is now a high tech learning environment. Teachers participated in training throughout the year on hardware use, effective technology integration in the classroom, lesson planning, and collaboration. Our goal is to effectively utilize technology as a tool in student engagement in order to increase achievement. Our students are really excited to see the new technology coming into their classrooms and have been very active in assisting us!
Technology Demonstration Night: Thank you for attending our 21st Century Technology demonstration. Teachers and students demonstrated the use of our new technology in a seminar presentation before open house. Teachers also demonstrated the technology in their classrooms throughout the night. During the 2008-2009 school year we will be demonstrating the new technology during Open Houses and at other parent meetings.

The intent of the 21st Century Classroom is to provide teachers with tools to more effectively engage today's learners. Teachers are faced with the task of communicating a curriculum to a new generation of students who are very technologically proficient. With the tools of the 21st Century Classroom, each teacher will be better equipped to teach in a technological arena that compliments the world in which todayâs students live, play and interact. The tools of the 21st Century Classroom include an interactive white board and/or projection screen, an interactive pad, ceiling-mounted projector, student response system, ceiling-mounted speakers with amplifier, CATV tuner, wall-mounted controller, and a DVD/VCR player.
