Asia
On we go to Asia,our Asia unit will be broken down into three units. The first unit will be South Asia. You received the maps on Friday 2/27 and should have these completed by Tuesday March 3rd.
S. Asia quiz will be on Wednesday March 11th. You received the study guide in class on March 10th. If you have lost or misplaced it you can download it here.
Be sure to be working on your Asis ABC book. This assignment will be due on March 27th but if you get it completed before it is due you can turn it in early.

Junior Advisement
GHSGT testing will take place in two weeks. March 23-26 Please be sure your student is present that week end on time. The schedule is as follows: March 23 Eng/LA, March 24 Math, March 25 Science and March 26 Social Studies. Be sure to eat a good breakfast and get plenty of sleep.

3rd block World Geography
This semester we will be studying several different regions in the world. For each unit students will be required to know the location of the region's countries. For extra assistance at home there are map quizzes and games at http://www.sheppardsoftware.com.

World Geography
This semester we will be study several different regions of the world. WIth each region we will be learning about the cultures, religions as well as other things such as the physical and human geography of the region.

Be sure to keep all your notes for the semester. You will be taking an End of course test in May that will cover all material that was covered in class.
To help you through out the semester you can practice on USA Test prep. The website is www.usatestprep.com. Ask your teachers for the password.
